Our Data
Historical stock data is sourced from licensed financial data providers. While we strive for accuracy, data may contain errors. Always verify important figures with official sources. We use adjusted closing prices, which account for stock splits and dividend payments, to provide accurate historical return calculations.
Our calculations assume:
- A lump-sum investment at the start of the selected year
- All dividends are reinvested (reflected in adjusted prices)
- No trading fees or taxes (actual returns would be lower)
- Prices in the stock's native currency, converted to GBP for display
